2015 USPS Postage Rate Increase


The 2015 USPS Postage Rate Increase Is Effective  May 31, 2015.

Overall, the changes reflect an average postage rate increase of 1.9%.

Here are some of the highlights:

Standard Mail

Letter postage rates increase by 1.7%.

Flat postage rates increase by 2.7%.

The most affected product is Parcels with a rate increase of 9.3%.

Nonprofit Mail

Letter postage rates increase by 2.9%.

Flat postage rates increase by 5.5%.

Periodical Mail

No postage rate increase at this time.

First Class Mail

Presort First Class Letters and Cards will increase by 2.4%

First Class stamps will remain at $0.49.

First Class postcards will increase to $0.35.

Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM)

No change in EDDM- Business Mail Entry Unit (BMEU) rates.
